Description
SAIC is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Senior Drupal Developer interested in joining our team and exploring an exciting and challenging career. SAIC is seeking creative, detail-oriented, and experienced Software Developers to join an energetic and versatile team responsible for addressing the customer website management challenges.
This is a remote job that can be worked from any location in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, architect content model, theme layer, modules, and processes to extend Drupal to meet requirements.
- Manage information content identify, coordinate, and delete outdated or obsolete information; include value-added news and/or features; maintain consistency throughout web pages.
- Ensure websites are professionally formatted in accordance with customer standards and are updated on a regular basis.
- Experience deploying and hosting content on Intranet and Intranet Sites, together and separately.
- Translate ideas and concepts into professional, web-based products applying effective web development skills.
- Design and layout all reports, documents, and publications, and ensure they are easily transferred to and retrievable from the website.
- Support unique initiatives for web page design, content organization, and special projects (e.g., surveys, reporting, etc.) that require technical fluency to generate content, programs, and designs within system capabilities.
- Other similar professional duties assigned as needed.
- Collaborate with Business and IT teams in the development of Agile Epics, Features, and User Stories related to cloud and data storage development.
- Engage in Agile teams, update Rally Agile tool.
- Analyze data and usage to find patterns and solutions to business challenges.
- Make business recommendations to stakeholders in a clear manner based on architectural best practices.
- Communicate regularly with customers, stakeholders, Agile teams, and management.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s in technical field and 5+ years of related experience or a Master's in technical field and 3+ years of expereince is required. 4+ years of additional work experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelors degree.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance based on USPTO regulations.
- Must have lived in the United States for the last 2 years consecutively.
Requried Skills
- Experience in Drupal 9+ twig theming and PHP based module development.
- Gitlab, Ansible and Shell scripting, Jenkins, Nexus, & Linux.
- Extensive Custom Drupal 9+ development and advanced Drupal CMS development.
- Experience in building responsive websites with advanced twig theming.
- Experience in upgradation of Drupal platform as well as building new sites.
- Experience working with static sites.
- Experience with Drupal API, custom module development, hook system as well as core and contributed modules.
- Experience working in Multiple Data Centers and conversant with Blue/Green, DR & Coop scenarios.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with AWS.
- Suitable combination of education, training, or experience maybe substituted for education.
- Experience in all testing phases and building test scripts.
- Must be able to provide coding samples.
Desired Skills
- Experience with automation testing/scripting.
- Experience delivering solutions using Agile delivery practices.
- Docker container experience
- Acquia certified Drupal developer.
- Familiarity with Rally Agile tool.
- Drupal.org profile.
Target salary range $115,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
