Haringey Council Launches User-Friendly LocalGov Drupal Website
Haringey Council has launched a new LocalGov Drupal website designed to enhance user experience and accessibility for its over 262,000 residents. The project, a collaboration between Annertech and Invuse, addressed critical issues such as mobile accessibility and usability following Government Digital Service standards.
Built on LocalGov Drupal, a CMS specifically for councils, the new site features seamless integrations with Modern.Gov and My Haringey iShare. Despite challenges, including migrating and restructuring approximately 3,000 pages of content and training over 100 editors, the updated platform scored 100% for accessibility and 96% for performance on PageSpeed Insights.
The site has received positive feedback from users for its ease of use and quick access to information. Paul Barnett, Digital Content and Development Manager praised the project’s success and the valuable expertise provided by Annertech.
