Drupal is the world’s leading open source digital experience platform (DXP). It leads the pack in delivering innovative digital transformational tools  to site builders from its conception in 2001. Drupal, though called a Content Management System, has evolved to be much more than that.

Robust, scalable, flexible, secure, free and modular in nature Drupal is ideal for almost any  application . Another strong point of Drupal is its huge community backing-more like a fan base! Drupalists meet quite often through community events organized throughout the year!

Here is a quick look at some of the major Drupal meetups that happen throughout the year.

DrupalCons

Two major Drupal Conferences are held annually, namely DrupalCon North America and DrupalCon Europe.

DrupalCamps

Then there are DrupalCamps. These meetups are more for the technical people in Drupal. These meetups are designed for smaller regional Drupal Communities. Here notes are shared and compared. These are great places to have development based troubleshooting discussions and feedback. These are also great opportunities for people to get to know others in the community. And of course be part of the strong Drupal Community.

Here are some of the DrupalCamps that are coming up in the USA, and Canada :

Asheville Camp in NC: It is held usually during the month of August followed by the DrupalCamp in Atlanta, Georgia.

DrupalCamp Atlanta: 2021 Camp will be held Online /Virtual on September 9th and 10th. . Generally held in the month of September soon after the North Carolina Camp.

New York City DrupalCamp: is held usually in Spring. It will be from 28th to 30th of October this year (2021). This year they are also trying to merge the Online/Virtual program with in-person meeting.

Pacific Northwest Camp: This targets the States of Washington and Oregon and the Province of British Columbia (Canada). It is usually held during Spring or Fall Season when travelling is possible. Bay Area Drupal Camp( BADCamp) is planning to take a hiatus in 2021 and to regroup in 2022.

Chattanooga: This will also be online this year, on November 6th. The Chattanooga Drupal Camp in Tennessee is generally scheduled for the first week of November.

New England: This DrupalCamp is scheduled to be a physical one on November 19th 2021.

DrupalCamp Florida: They are proposing to hold this as a physical event in 2022, hoping that things will get back to normal from the Covid pandemic by then. It is held in February. It will be from 18th to 20th (of February) this coming year.

MidCamp: Held in Chicago it usually happens in March.

DrupalCamp Hawaii is held on a weekday sometime during the middle of July

Drupal Camps in Europe

Drupal Camp in Wroclaw, Poland will be an Online or Virtual one. It is scheduled to be held on the 13th and 14th of October 2021.
