Matt Glaman to Talk at SFDUG: Tighten Up Drupal Code using PHPStan

Matt Glaman, Principal Software Engineer at Acquia will be presenting on March 10th, 2022 at San Francisco Drupal Users Group (SFDUG), “Tighten up your Drupal code using PHPStan”. The event is virtual and those who RSVP to the event will receive an email with the zoom link the afternoon of the event. While the event is from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM (PT), the presentation will be for one hour from 6 PM to 7 PM.

During the presentation, Matt will present PHPStan, a static analysis tool for PHP that can find bugs in the Drupal code that tests and code review cannot. For those who missed his presentation at the Florida DrupalCamp this will be a golden opportunity to catch up and get familiar with PHPStan.

During the session, Matt Glaman will show how to use PHPStan with the phpstan-drupal extension to perform static analysis of a Drupal codebase. The intricacies of analyzing Drupal code which can have dynamic return types will also be covered.

About the Speaker

Matt Glaman a key contributor to Drupal, has worked with Drupal for over nine years. He specializes in e-commerce and headless applications.
