DrupalCon Europe is all set for the Online Events for October 4th to the 7th, 2021. The ‘Agency & Business’ track is all about growing a sustainable business in the Open Web through innovation and diversification. Join the discussion for some actionable advice, ideas and challenges from business owners, CIOs, CEOs and PMs. Learn how to manage projects and businesses successfully and deliver top quality work on time.

These sessions will be purely managerial level content.

Michael Godeck’s “The Case For No-Estimation: Persuading devs and project funders alike” is on Monday 4th October from 12:00 to 12:45 hrs UTC in Hopin- Room 1. Godeck will explain about the risks and uncertainties in the estimation game. Also on how to optimize and frame estimation practices for improved predictability while giving estimates. Godeck is CTO of Value Factory.

Jaspreet Singh’s “How the Support + Kanban Structure Works Unitedly ” is on the first day, Monday 4th October from 13:00 to 13:45 hrs UTC in Hopin-Room 1. The talk will be about Support and Maintenance after successful project completion and how to manage that using the Kanban model. Singh is a project manager at Axelerant.

Simone Oppermann’s “ Discovery as a door opener for successful projects” is on Monday 4th October from 14:00 to 14:20 hrs UTC in Hopin -Room1.Oppermann works with UndPaul

Chris Mcgrath’s” Finding Drupal Talent in a Seller’s Market” is on the third day Wednesday 6th October from 13:00 to 13:45 hrs UTC in Hopin-Room 5. McGrath is CEO of Esteemed Inc.

Dori Kelner’s “Building a Mindset for Technical Leadership” is on Wednesday 6th October from 14:00 to 14:45 hrs UTC in Hopin-Room 6. Kelner is a Mindfulness teacher and facilitator.

Sarah Fruy & Drew Gorton of Pantheon, talk ” Start Small to Win Big: New Offerings for Your Agency” is on Tuesday 5th October from 08:00-08:45 hrs UTC in Hopin-Room 1.

Daniel Angelov’s Exploratory Testing- Best Bang for the Buck Quality Initiative You Must Start” is on Tuesday 5th October 2021 from 09:00 to 09:20 hrs UTC in Hopin-Room 1. The session is about testing and how to integrate exploratory testing methods into the workflow. Angelov is from FFW Agency.

Drupal Steward Q&A by Michael Hess is on the first day Monday 4th October 14:30 to 14:50 hrs UTC in Hopin-Room 1. A joint program venture by Drupal Association and the Drupal Security team, it protects subscribers in advance of release of a security patch for a responsibly reported, highly critical vulnerability. Some of these subscription amount is used to support Drupal Security Team Operations and Drupal Association programs. Hess is the CTO of Drupal Association.

Aaron Hirtenstein’s talk on “Distributed governance in a distribution for local government ” is on Wednesday 6th October from 12:00 to 12:45 hrs UTC in Hopin-Room 7. Hirtenstein is a member of Agile Collective.

Mriduula Ujjwala’s talk “The coaching difference- A unique culture story” is on Wednesday 6th October 14:00 to 14:20 hrs UTC in Hopin-Room 1. Ujjwal is Career Development Coach in Axelerant.

John Albin Wilkins’ talk “The Accessibility mistake our entire industry is making” is on Wednesday 6th October from 14:30 to 14:50 hrs UTC in Hopin- Room 1. The session led by Wilkins, a long time Drupal contributor and frontend developer of Annertech will try to take the talk out of accessibility and get some sensitivity and sensibility to the needs around.

Danny Bluestone’s talk “ Why a people focused culture yields digital transformation” is on the final day of the conference, Thursday 7th October from 07:00 to 07:45 hrs UTC in Hopin-Room 1. Bluestone, founder and CEO of Cyber-Duck talks about how contrary to the market trend during the Covid 19 pandemic, they were able to increase their team to three times the original size, increase revenue by more than half and profit by 65% against the previous pre-pandemic year. All this through digital transformation.

Leen Penders & Nick Veenhof talk “ 5 reasons to believe in an Open DXP” is on the final day too, Thursday 7th October from 08:00 to 08:45hrs UTC in Hopin-Room 1. Penders, the CMO and Veenhof, CTO of DropSolid will lead an interactive session on what Digital Experience Platform is all about.

Le’Rhone Walker’s “Three approaches to building your next Drupal site” is on the final day, Thursday 7th of October from 09:00 to 09:20 hrs UTC in Hopin -Room 1. Walker, Senior Director of Bounteous discusses the key questions to ask when building a Drupal Site.

Abhay Kumar’s “Things a professional services firm should do to thrive” is on the final day , Thursday 7th October from 09:30 to 09:50 hrs UTC in Hopin-Room 1. Abhay, a JavaScript Developer of QED 42 will discuss strategies for a professional firm to thrive.
