Drupal Scholarships & Fellowships for 2022

Drupal is an open-source CMS platform with a diverse and distributed community across the globe. The community believes that a healthy open source community is only possible through the inclusion of diverse thinking, opinions and viewpoints. Beginning a career and becoming a part of a new community can always be difficult, so here are a few scholarships that will not only guide you in the right direction but also introduce you to the huge Drupal community.

DrupalCon Scholarship Program

DrupalCon scholarship program provides support to those who are traditionally underrepresented and/or marginalized in the open source communities who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend tech events for financial reasons. This scholarship is awarded based on a combination of need and impact. Selection will be made by an assembled group of reviewers who will assess each applicant’s request. All application information will be kept confidential. The last day of application is 23^rd June 2022.

Bounteous Apprenticeship

Bounteous is offering full scholarship to cover Drupal Career Online tuition and paid apprenticeship with Bounteous. The scholarship is focused on those who are part of historically-excluded populations in technology, especially Women, Black, Indigenous, and other Persons of Color, LGBTQIA+ or Individuals with disabilities. Candidates must meet the background requirements, apply to, and be accepted to Drupal Career Online. Only U.S. and Canadian Citizens are eligible. You can submit a Drupal Career Online application before August 8^th, 2022 and indicate that you would like to apply to the Bounteous Scholarship program.

There are more options like Palantir Fellowship, Four Kitchens Fellowship and Discover Drupal scholarship. Most of these are part of the Drupal Career Online by DrupalEasy. You can directly apply through their site.
