JOB DESCRIPTION

The Contributions You’ll Make: 

  • Develop coding standards and best practices for new UI Development.
  • Analyze, design, code, test, debug, maintain, and document software components in accordance with our software architecture
  • Collaborate with designer, engineering and product teams to create the best experience for our customers.
  • Support other Front-end and Drupal Developers in their usage of the pattern library, manage releases of the component library.
  • Lead Development efforts for building of new Drupal 8 platform for Voya’s current suite of marketing sites.
  • Work to integrate Drupal 8 sites with new Acquia Products, such as Lift, DAM, and Content Hub products.
  • Use JavaScript to build interactive pages components and features.
  • Work with other Drupal Developers on code standards and periodic code reviews.
  • Work as part of a team in a positive and engaging manner to deliver high-end solutions for the business and our partners.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience with custom Module Development in Drupal 8 and JavaScript experience 
  • Basic understanding of Typescript.
  • Understanding of building new web experiences with Web Component standards. 
  • Experience with Responsive Design and Mobile web.
  • Develop with Accessibility in mind to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
  • Senior or expert level knowledge of many of our front end technologies including: Angular2, React, Polymer, HTML, and CSS
  • Hybrid Mobile development experience a plus
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/Gulp/SASS
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline/budget driven work environment.
  • Has a solid understanding of the Linux operating system, knows basic of navigating and using the operating system.
  • Has a solid understanding of GIT and the GIT Flow methodology.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and to prioritize effectively
  • Passionate, dependable and committed to the greater good of the team and company.
