Drupal Developer at MetroStar Systems

What you’ll do:

• Participate in scrum ceremonies with the team (e.g., developers, solution architect, UX/visual designers, PM, QA engineer, Scrum Master, stakeholders, Product Owner).
• Work on refining requirements, migration strategy, and security strategy.
• Implement the migration of an existing non-Drupal website to Drupal 9.
• Complete new development and operations and maintenance post-migration.
• Support the customer with guidance and recommendations, making thoughtful decisions that help meet requirements and goals.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• 7+ years Drupal website back-end development expertise, with front-end knowledge, administration, core and custom module development, configuration management/features, and theming.
• Extensive development experience in Drupal 8/9 and ecosystem components (Git, Composer, TWIG, theming, Site Building and Module development).
• Hands-on migration experience to Drupal 9, including development of Content Migration Strategy, requirements documentation, security, and testing strategy and execution.
• Experience leading teams of developers and architects, coding/developing, planning and decisions, guiding customers, and being flexible and open to feedback.
• Ability to code and debug in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Experience in front-end frameworks (e.g., React.js, Vue.js, AngularJS); and back-end technologies (e.g., NodeJS, Python, Ruby, scalable server technologies).
• Experience syncing admin changes between multiple environments (configuration importing/exporting); config and modification of contributed modules, standard hooks, and standard self-test regimes.
• Working knowledge of accessibility and 508-compliance.
• Have the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
