Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration, maintenance, and updates of Drupal-based websites.
• Ensure websites are secure, optimized, and performing efficiently.
• Manage content updates, including adding, editing, and removing content.
• Collaborate with content creators to ensure that website content is accurate, timely, and aligns with organizational goals.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal modules and themes to enhance website functionality and user experience.
• Implement custom solutions to meet specific business requirements.
• Manage user roles and permissions within the Drupal environment.
• Ensure appropriate access levels and security controls are in place.
• Integrate Drupal sites with other systems and third-party services, such as CRMs, payment gateways, and analytics tools.
• Ensure smooth data flow and interoperability between systems.
• Implement security measures to protect the website from vulnerabilities and threats.
• Stay informed about security patches and updates, applying them promptly to maintain website integrity.
• Monitor and optimize website performance, including page load times, server response times, and overall user experience.
• Implement caching strategies and optimize databases to enhance performance.
• Provide technical support for website issues, including troubleshooting and resolving bugs, errors, and performance problems.
• Work with hosting providers and other technical teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for Drupal configurations, customizations, and processes.
• Provide training and support to content editors and other stakeholders on using Drupal effectively.

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Drupal administration and development.
  • Proven experience with Drupal 8 or 9, including module and theme development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Experience with Drupal theming, including Twig templating, and custom module development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with Drupal security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with site-building concepts, including Views, Blocks, and Panels.
• Certifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as Acquia Certified Developer or equivalent are a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Education:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
