JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications using Drupal 8/9/10
  • Develop custom modules and themes, ensuring compliance with federal standards and best practices
  • Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) to create user-friendly interfaces
  • Ensure applications are optimized for performance and accessibility
  • Implement APIs and integrate third-party services
  • Manage database design and development, optimizing for efficiency and security
  • Work closely with project managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to define project scope and deliverables
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web applications
  • Stay updated on the latest Drupal trends and technologies, implementing best practices in development
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications and systems
  • Ensure compliance with federal documentation standards

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Drupal development
  • Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git
  • Familiarity with federal government regulations and standards (e.g., Section 508 compliance)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
