JOB DESCRIPTION

For an European institution in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for a Senior Drupal Developer - Relocation to Brussels.

Candidates need to be based in Belgium or willing to relocate to Brussels when coming from abroad. Candidates need to be fluent in English. A work permit is required, but not provided. This position is open for contractors.

Tasks and Responsibilities: Design, plan, implement integration strategies and patterns in a DRUPAL/HTTP secured ecosystem;Apply best practices of distributed architecture to solve complex integration problems between information systems;Design, implement and document APIs to be exposed in a secured manner on a public facing API Gateway;Design, implement and document business events to be easily produced on a corporate event-streaming platform and consumed by any system from EC;Design, plan, implement and deploy workflows: business process definition and task definition (service or user tasks) relying on APIs and business events;Work in a container based infrastructure; Profile: Bachelor or Master degree;10 years of development of custom module on Drupal 6 , 7 , 8 , 9 and 10;Specific expertise in migrating website to newest Drupal versions;Specific expertise in building collaborative website;Knowledge of HTTP and API design;Knowledge of JEE and REST or SOAP APIs;Knowledge of at least one BPMN workflow engine;Knowledge of integration testing best practices;Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and cloud native architectures;Knowledge in GRPC and Protobuf format;Knowledge of distributed or microservice architectures and complex event processing;Knowledge in Web security, OAuth2.0 and OpenID Connect;Fluent in English; Interested: If you are interested in this opportunity, please forward your CV to ******.
