JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Create and formulate effective and responsive designs for web applications
  • Install and build custom Drupal modules and consume web services
  • Test, debug, and update Drupal websites to ensure optimal functionality
  • Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to meet both technical and business requirements
  • Assist the development team in writing effective code that complies with engineering standards and best practices
  • Participate actively in sprint planning, daily standups, and sprint retrospectives
  • Contribute to debugging and troubleshooting technical issues and identifying appropriate solutions

    Minimum Requirements
     
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer using Drupal (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
  • Extensive programming experience in PHP and Drupal
  • Proficient in primary web development concepts like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented PHP and other web technologies, such as React, Node.js, GraphQL, Vue.js, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, including the use of JOINS and aggregation functions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4-hour overlap with US time zones

    Preferred Skills
     
  • Familiarity with Git for code management
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD processes
  • Experience or familiarity with Docker or other container/virtualized development environments
  • Familiarity with automated testing concepts, including behavioral testing and visual regression testing
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to set and meet project deadlines
