JOB DESCRIPTION

Design, implement, and maintain software development and deployment processes.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using tools like CircleCI and Azure DevOps.
Manage cloud-based infrastructure and ensure continuous monitoring and maintenance.
Design and implement robust APIs for mobile and desktop platforms.
Develop user interfaces based on UX/UI wireframes, design compositions, and style guides.
Ensure front-end performance, responsiveness, and seamless integration with backend systems.
Provide end-user support for content authoring workflows and software interaction.
Configure, administer, and maintain web server environments including Apache, Tomcat, and Lucee.
Implement and maintain web accessibility compliance protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with git workflows (cloning, branching, merging, applying patches).
Understanding of stakeholder goals and brand consistency in visual and UX/UI design.
Proficiency in writing reusable code, unit testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance.
Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards and compliance protocols.
Experience with cloud tools and infrastructure (ARM templates, Bicep, Ansible, or similar).
Proficient in responsive web design, Sass, jQuery, grid-based layouts, and CSS.

Experience:

2+ years theming in Drupal 9 with hands-on experience in:
- Module and theme development
- Frontend frameworks and site-building
- High-traffic Drupal-based solution delivery
Experience managing site configurations in Drupal (menus, users, blocks, front-page settings).
Experience handling multilingual content management, language support, and translation in Drupal.
Proven experience in:
- Developing CI/CD pipelines
- Deployment automation
- Cloud infrastructure (monitoring and maintenance)
Background in configuring and maintaining server environments (Apache, Tomcat, Lucee).
Recent experience with government agencies or civic-tech initiatives (Desirable).
