JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Integrate Drupal with Apigee for API management, including:
    • Configuring API gateways
    • Ensuring secure and efficient communication between Drupal and Apigee
    • Troubleshooting API integration issues
  • Set up and manage Drupal 9 and 10 environments from scratch (local and production)
  • Configure and manage Apache/Nginx, PHP, and PostgreSQL servers for Drupal deployments
  • Implement and maintain Drupal CMS features:
    • Content types, views, taxonomies, menus, blocks
    • Content moderation and workflow tools
    • User roles and granular permissions
  • Create and maintain Swagger/OpenAPI documentation for RESTful APIs
  • Write and maintain custom PHP code and Drupal modules
  • Optimize PostgreSQL performance and ensure efficient database integration with Drupal
  • Configure and integrate SiteMinder for secure user authentication and authorization
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment of Drupal applications
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment using tools like JIRA and Confluence

Experience:

  • 8+ years of overall experience in software development
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Drupal and PHP
  • Strong knowledge and experience with:
    • Drupal 9 and 10
    • PostgreSQL database setup and optimization
    • Symfony framework, Composer, and Drush
    • Front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Working with SiteMinder for identity and access management
  • API integration, documentation, and security best practices
  • Experience in self-hosted Drupal in containerized or cloud environments
  • Exposure to front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js (Preferred)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong experience in:
    • Drupal development and configuration
    • PHP and custom module development
    • API management and documentation
    • PostgreSQL and database performance tuning
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices
  • Knowledge of API security best practices
  • Experience with SiteMinder integration for access control
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills
