JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Integrate Drupal with Apigee for robust API management.
  • Configure API gateways and ensure secure, efficient communication between Drupal and Apigee.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to API consumption and integration.
  • Set up and configure Drupal environments from scratch, both locally and in production.
  • Configure and manage servers (Apache/Nginx, PHP, PostgreSQL) to host Drupal.
  • Structure content effectively using Drupal's content types, views, taxonomies, menus, and blocks.
  • Manage Drupal content workflows including moderation, publishing, and versioning.
  • Create and manage user roles and permissions for secure access control.
  • Develop and maintain Swagger/OpenAPI documentation for RESTful APIs.
  • Write and troubleshoot custom PHP code in the Drupal ecosystem.
  • Optimize PostgreSQL queries and ensure efficient integration with Drupal.
  • Work with Symfony, Composer, and Drush for Drupal development and deployment.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Integrate SiteMinder with Drupal for secure authentication and authorization.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Drupal (versions 9 and 10).
  • Proficiency in setting up Drupal CMS from the ground up.
  • In-depth knowledge of Drupal’s content management features.
  • Proven experience in managing user roles and permissions.
  • Strong development experience in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of PostgreSQL including database setup and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with Symfony, Composer, and Drush.
  • Ability to implement CI/CD pipelines effectively.
  • Experience with SiteMinder for access and identity management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

  • Working with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with self-hosted Drupal in containerized or cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • At least 8 years of overall professional experience, including a minimum of 5+ years with Drupal.
  • Strong knowledge of API security and industry best practices.
