JOB DESCRIPTION

Maintain and optimize the current Drupal site through:
- Bug fixes
- Security updates
- Performance improvements
Collaborate with internal teams to implement content and functionality updates.
Architect and implement a headless Drupal setup using modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Nuxt.
Design and develop APIs for content delivery across various platforms and devices.
Lead the backend simplification and system migration strategy.
Identify and recommend cost-effective technologies for long-term site performance and scalability.
Conduct comprehensive testing:
- Unit tests
- Integration tests
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Document systems, processes, and handover procedures for ongoing development.

Requirements

Proven experience with Drupal 8/9/10, including custom module development and theming.
Hands-on experience building or migrating to headless CMS architectures.
Strong knowledge of API-first design principles and familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Solid understanding of modern frontend frameworks, such as React or Vue.
Proficiency with CI/CD processes, Git, and deployment workflows.

Preferred Experience

Experience optimizing infrastructure to reduce hosting and maintenance costs.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Vercel, or Netlify.
5+ years of full-stack web development experience with a strong emphasis on Drupal and decoupled architecture.
