JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead the design and development of full-stack web applications, emphasizing frontend excellence to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Develop custom Drupal modules and themes using PHP and Twig, tailoring solutions to meet HMP Global’s unique needs.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences that align with organizational goals.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to technical planning to maintain high standards of code quality.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility, ensuring compliance with web standards and best practices.
  • Drive decisions on architecture, tooling, and best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the implementation of headless or decoupled Drupal solutions, where applicable, to enhance flexibility and performance.


Required:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP and Drupal 8/9/10, including module and theme development, and site building.
  • Expert knowledge of frontend design and extensive experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on creating responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Understanding of modern frontend frameworks and build tools, ensuring efficient development workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, with a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams.


Preferred:

  • Experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks, enhancing frontend capabilities.
  • Familiarity with headless Drupal and decoupled architectures, enabling innovative solutions.
  • Understanding of RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, facilitating seamless integrations.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker), and cloud platforms, supporting scalable deployments.
