JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Integrate Drupal with Apigee for API management, including configuration of API gateways and ensuring secure and efficient communication between systems.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues related to API consumption and management.
  • Build and manage Drupal sites using Drupal 9 and 10, including custom module development and configuration.
  • Set up Drupal from scratch in both local and production environments, including server configuration (Apache/Nginx, PHP, PostgreSQL).
  • Configure and manage Drupal CMS features such as content types, views, taxonomies, menus, and blocks to meet project requirements.
  • Set up and manage content workflows using Drupal's moderation tools for approvals, publishing, and versioning.
  • Manage user roles and permissions to ensure appropriate and secure access levels across various user types.
  • Create and maintain Swagger/OpenAPI documentation for RESTful APIs.
  • Develop and maintain custom PHP code to support Drupal functionality and module integration.
  • Optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and ensure seamless integration with Drupal.
  • Work with Symfony, Composer, and Drush for application management and automation.
  • Configure and integrate SiteMinder for identity and access management within the Drupal environment.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and maintain continuous delivery practices.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams using JIRA and Confluence for planning and documentation.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Drupal 9 and 10.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Drupal CMS, including content structure, workflows, and permissions.
  • Experience integrating Drupal with Apigee for API gateway configuration and API management.
  • Proficiency in PHP development, including custom module development and debugging.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development.
  • In-depth experience with PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and integration with Drupal.
  • Experience with Symfony framework and tools such as Composer and Drush.
  • Hands-on experience setting up Drupal environments (local and production), including server configuration.
  • Familiarity with SiteMinder for authentication and authorization integration in Drupal.
  • Experience creating and managing API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong knowledge of API security best practices.

Preferred:

  • Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience hosting Drupal in containerized or cloud environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of overall development experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Drupal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, Agile environments.
