JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance websites using Drupal CMS.
  • Collaborate with Web Admins, Unix Admins, and IT teams to ensure smooth integration and operations.
  • Manage content migration from legacy systems to modern web servers and environments.
  • Perform front-end and back-end web development to support a range of site functionalities.
  • Ensure server-side scripting and application development using PHP within the LAMP stack.
  • Maintain and migrate Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments to version 8.
  • Implement secure coding practices aligned with OWASP standards to mitigate vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF.
  • Align web development efforts with government compliance standards and regulations.
  • Follow established style guides and web standards, adjusting development to client requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Drupal CMS and PHP for both front-end and back-end development.
  • Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions 6.x, 7.x, and 8.
  • Proven expertise in the LAMP stack: Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP.
  • Skilled in managing and migrating web content and server environments.
  • Solid understanding of web security best practices and tools, including OWASP guidelines and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
  • Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary IT teams.
  • Familiarity with working under government regulations and compliance mandates.
  • Experience adapting to client-specific style guides and web development standards.

Experience

  • 2+ years of expertise in building and maintaining Drupal-based websites.
  • 4–7 years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
  • 4–7 years of experience migrating content and managing environments on RHEL 8.
  • 4–7 years of hands-on web development experience, including full-stack development using LAMP.
  • 4–7 years of working in collaborative environments with Web Admins, Unix Admins, and IT support teams.
  • Demonstrated experience ensuring compliance with security standards (OWASP) and government policies.
  • Practical knowledge of secure coding practices and implementation of WAFs.
