JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead and execute complex Drupal migrations across versions 7, 8, 9, and 10, ensuring data integrity and platform stability.
Develop and implement custom migration plugins and processes using the Migration API and related modules (e.g., Migrate Plus, Migrate Tools).
Write clean, scalable PHP code with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming (OOP).
Optimize SQL queries and manage databases for high performance during and post-migration.
Configure and manage Drupal’s Configuration Management system to support structured, version-controlled deployments.
Follow migration best practices, including performance optimization and handling complex data transformations.
Collaborate with teams to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless application performance.
Use command-line tools like Drush and Composer for development, automation, and deployment tasks.
Support continuous integration and deployment processes, including debugging and automated testing.

Requirements

Extensive hands-on experience with Drupal 7, 8, 9, and 10, including full lifecycle migrations.
Proficiency in Drupal Migration API and modules such as Migrate Plus, Migrate Tools, and Migrate Source (CSV/XML).
Strong PHP programming skills, with expertise in OOP and custom plugin development.
Experience managing and optimizing databases, including writing performant SQL queries.
Familiarity with version control using Git.
Understanding of Composer, Drush, and Drupal's command-line utilities.
Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and SASS/LESS for front-end customization is a plus.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with CI/CD pipelines is desirable.
Strong debugging and automated testing skills.

Experience

Proven track record of successfully completing Drupal 7 to 8/9/10 migration projects.
Experience migrating content, users, and configuration across multiple Drupal versions.
Demonstrated ability to perform complex data transformations while maintaining data integrity.
Hands-on experience with multilingual content migration.
Practical knowledge in optimizing migration performance and identifying migration bottlenecks.
Familiarity with best practices in Drupal configuration management and deployment workflows.
