JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Design, develop, administer, and support the agency s Drupal website and WordPress blogs.
  • Plan and maintain web and browser-based applications that align with agency program needs.
  • Train team members on Drupal development and web administration best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-agency workgroups to implement standardized web templates and applications using Drupal, WordPress, and in-house systems.
  • Maintain detailed technical, systems, and security documentation.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal staff on the usage of custom web applications.
  • Ensure timely reporting on progress, risks, incidents, and system maintenance activities.
  • Attend work regularly in alignment with agency attendance policies.
  • Adhere to all agency policies, including safety and conduct standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:
     
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience using PHP within LAMP or LEMP stacks.
  • 8+ years of experience developing and administering enterprise websites using CMS platforms (Drupal and WordPress).
  • 8+ years of experience developing with frameworks such as Laravel, Django, Symfony, etc.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Drupal and WordPress administration.
  • Proficient with Linux OS and command-line interface (CLI).
  • Knowledge of system development methodologies and modern programming practices.
  • Ability to create secure, scalable, and responsive web applications.

    Preferred Qualifications
     
  • Experience using Python in LAMP/LEMP stack development.
  • Strong background with information retrieval systems (e.g., Drupal Search, Solr).
  • Proficient in managing Drupal using Drush.
  • Experience building responsive, mobile-friendly websites.
  • Familiarity with AJAX and asynchronous web application techniques.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, Ruby, and Java.
  • Awareness of common web security vulnerabilities (e.g., cross-site scripting, SQL injection).
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Remedy or KACE.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Recent industry certifications in programming or web development.
