JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a full-time, experienced, CFML & Drupal Developer to join our fast-paced and growing team as a mid to senior-level developer. This role, in addition to an existing team, will develop and maintain web-based applications such as HRIS, LMS, CMS, and other enterprise systems across multiple clients. For one of our newest clients, we require a developer experienced with Drupal.

Responsibilities:

  • Development utilizing the latest CFML techniques and technologies (usually, but not always, Adobe ColdFusion)
  • Modernization and support of legacy applications
  • Designing and developing solutions in a variety of contexts to achieve client objectives
  • Effort assessment and detailed reporting of time usage per project/day (due weekly)

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of CFML experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Relational Databases (MSSQL, MySQL, etc…)
  • 1+ years of experience with Drupal
  • Ability to work independently and/or with a team
  • Ability to work remotely while maintaining excellent communication
  • Ability to set up and maintain a local development environments
  • Time budgeting and deadline awareness
  • Schedule and maintain availability during working hours
  • Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and know when it’s time to ask for help

Desirable Skills:

  • CFML MVC frameworks (ColdBox, FW/1, CFWheels)
  • Ortus Solutions’ Box products with an emphasis on CommandBox
  • API creation and integration experience (SOAP, REST, OAuth, SAML, JWT, etc…)
  • Database optimization and indexing experience
  • Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc…)
  • JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, VueJS, AngularJS, or ReactJS
  • CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
  • Event-Driven Serverless Computing with Containers, AWS Lambda, and/or Amazon SQS
  • AWS setup, architecture, and administration - AWS certifications are a plus
  • Server administration and monitoring with emphasis on Adobe ColdFusion/Lucee servers.
