  1. Build news team and create working news site
  2. Establish newsdesk with information being sourced from across the drupal community
  3. Partner with Drupal Events as media partner and cover and promote events
  4. Conduct interviews of contributors and community leaders
  5. Establish video channel
  6. Partner with Drupal companies and organize Drupal news from across the community
  • Establish dedicated marketing team for promoting Drupal events and local communities and for supporting local event organizers
  • Establish live webinars on the site
  • Establish community advisory body to direct operations of the community activities
  • Establish relationships with Media organizations covering technology news and get into content sharing
  • Establish relationships with technical bloggers and technical influencers and promote content
  • Establish PR offering for Drupal companies to broadcast company press releases
  • Establish dedicated marketing unit around taking Drupal to non-Drupal events and to new markets
  • Establish public framework for equitable distribution of Drupal opportunities to companies who contribute to the community
  • Establish sales and marketing offering to generate and distribute Drupal opportunities to agencies based on the above
  • Establish DrupalCollab as a collective and put together systems and people around it
  • Transfer ownership and operational responsibilities of the media unit to the collective
