Ruth Cheesley

Ruth Cheesley is the Project Lead for Mautic and an open-source community leader with more than 18 years of experience in free and open-source software. Her work focuses on project governance, community building, marketing automation, contributor enablement, and helping organisations adopt open-source technologies.
Ruth has led the Mautic project through its transition from Acquia-supported stewardship to an independent open-source project. Her background includes service on the Joomla! Community Leadership Team, building and running a full-service digital agency, and supporting the Mautic community as its project lead.
In the Drupal community, Ruth is active under the username rcheesley and serves as an ambassador in the Community Health Team. She has spoken at DrupalCon Portland and Drupal Developer Days Ghent, and has participated in Drupal events including DrupalCon Amsterdam, DrupalCon Global, DrupalCon Europe, DrupalCon Prague, and DrupalCon Portland.
