Nicolai Schwarz (Mr Ease)

My name is Nicolai Schwarz. I work as an independent web developer, designer & consultant in Dortmund, Germany. My projects usually revolve around the content management systems Drupal and Backdrop as well as work in the frontend (HTML, CSS and JavaScript).

Primarily, I work for the Jewish Museum Berlin and support the editorial team in developing new features on the Drupal website. As a freelancer, I support the Dortmund company KPS with another Drupal project. However, I am not allowed to say more about the project here. It's a shame actually. 

This year I am also involved in a book project by accessibility consultant Jan Hellbusch . Here I am responsible for the code examples and website for the book. From time to time I write articles for PC Magazine. This usually involves current technical topics such as tools, NFT or AI tools such as Midjourney and ChatGPT. 

I'm part of the organizing team for DrupalCamp Ruhr.  Since 2008, I have been organizing Long Thursday with the two designers Mik Schulz and Ralf Ziegeweid , a monthly themed evening for designers and creative people in Dortmund and the surrounding area.
