Acro Media launched their new corporate website on a brand new decoupled architecture. Earlier, Arco Media’s website was built on Drupal 7, which handled both the back end and the front end. The new technical architecture uses Drupal 9 as the back end serving data to a react front end.

The website is made with scalability and growth in mind. They used Next.js and other factory components to connect to Drupal’s API and grab the needed JSON data. It also uses Google Material UI to access robust, customizable, accessible libraries to build their desired design system.

A component-based design system drives the styling and visuals. The modern future-proof architecture brings their core offerings to the leading edge and opens the door to changes on how they can serve and deliver products to their customers.
