Job Type: Full Time

Working closely with the members of the small yet effective IT team, you’ll play a key role in fulfilling the requirements of the Foundation and its large community of open-source developers.

Job Responsibilities:

Redevelop new Drupal 9 sites based on existing Drupal 7 websites
Improve the quality of Drupal development on assigned projects
Collaborate with the rest of the development team to solve problems and make things better
Implement automated testing methodologies and best practices

Qualifications:

Experience with Drupal and/or complex PHP projects
3+ year experience in web development
Knowledge of JavaScript, ideally with ES6, React and Node.js
You have a proven history of writing great code and completing complex projects with a high level of quality
Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS and LESS
Experience with GitHub, GitLab, or other collaborative code forges

Bonus Skills:

Experience designing RESTful APIs
Experience with Bootstrap
Experience with microservices architecture and the ability to implement microservices
Experience configuring web servers in a Linux environment

Work Skills:

Self-starter, ability to work with a great sense of autonomy within a geographically distributed team
Being detail-oriented with great communication and collaboration skills
Flexible and able to deal with frequently shifting priorities
Troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
