Upcoming Splash Awards & Drupal Business Day in Mannheim

The upcoming Splash Awards and Drupal Business Day event, scheduled for November 10 in Mannheim, Germany, is drawing near. The event will showcase 28 selected Drupal projects competing in 8 different categories.

Among the nominees are projects for notable organizations like Maggi, Occhio, the city of Munich, Potsdam University of Applied Sciences, and the Austrian news magazine profile. This marks the 6th edition of the prestigious Splash Awards, which honors outstanding Drupal projects in Germany and Austria. The event will occur at the Manufaktur on Industriestraße Mannheim, with admission starting at 6:00 PM and the awards ceremony commencing at 7:00 PM.

In addition to the awards, an accompanying Drupal Business Day will be held at the same location on November 10. This event aims to facilitate exchange and networking among Drupal service providers and to share best practices for marketing Drupal in Germany.

The day will feature a BarCamp format, allowing the community to select topics for sessions and discussions in the morning, as well as keynote speeches.

Business Day is scheduled to start at 9:00 AM and conclude at 5:00 PM.
