Advanced Drupal Course by Western Washington University

Western Washington University is holding an Advanced Drupal Course on 23rd February 2022. The course is the continuation of the Beginning Drupal Course. The course will be focused on controlling the look and the feel of the website and how to use resources like material fonts and pattern lab. It will also offer hands-on training for building and implementing complex blocks, custom styles, table accessibility, and more.

To join the course, you must have prior knowledge of Drupal site building, complete the Beginning Drupal course or Western’s Basic Web Accessibility course. You must have high-speed internet, laptop or desktop computer with one or more monitors, mouse, camera and microphone.

The course highlight may include discussions on complex locks available on PatternLab, how to apply custom classes for styling blocks, build and place custom blocks, discuss best practices when building tables, create custom URLs for pages and customize icons and discussions on using media library, and more.

The course also includes an introduction to Content Types and Views, especially how these components work together in Drupal to decrease manual work and increase content accuracy. 

They also have a Beginning Course that will be held on 16th and 17th February 2022.
