Monarq Introduces Sections & Components System for Drupal

Monarq has developed a new system called Sections & Components to simplify content management in Drupal, enhancing user experience by making the platform more intuitive and flexible. This system enables site administrators to build customized, responsive pages by combining predefined sections and components such as text blocks, images, carousels, and call-to-action buttons. The modular approach allows users to rearrange and adapt layouts without needing to code, providing flexibility.

One notable implementation of the system was for the McGill Executive Institute, where Monarq's team performed a comprehensive analysis of the existing site before upgrading it from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10. By identifying content patterns, they enabled administrators to easily create and modify pages using the new Sections & Components structure. The system offers various layout options, including symmetrical, asymmetrical, and functional sections, which can be adapted to fit specific content needs while maintaining design consistency and accessibility standards across devices.
