Drupal CMS Launches SaaS Site Template for B2B Expense Management
The Drupal CMS team has begun work on its first real-world site template for SaaS and product-focused businesses. The issue, reported by Adam G-H, was opened on May 27, 2025, and updated on June 18, 2025.
This recipe targets B2B expense-management platforms, addressing mid-sized companies’ need for streamlined spending controls. It will support virtual and physical company cards; mobile receipt capture with real-time categorization; role-based approval workflows; two-way integrations with accounting software; multi-currency handling; budget analytics; and automated reimbursement processing.
Structured content types include blog posts, feature blocks with icons and descriptions, and a standalone changelog page, all leveraging existing Drupal CMS recipes. Top-level layout components will comprise hero sections, feature overviews, pricing modules, logo grids, FAQ sections, testimonial lists and call-to-action banners. Views will generate feature lists, blog archives and FAQ listings, while core system menus will provide main navigation, footer links, and a new utility menu for login and signup. User roles for administrator, editor, and marketing will draw on established recipe configurations.
Demo and starter content will deliver a homepage, custom 404 page, full landing page showcasing every layout element, two pricing tiers, a sample blog post, and testimonials. The initial MVP will include a pricing comparison table. Future phases will explore integrations such as HubSpot embeds, Mailchimp campaigns, Zapier workflows, A/B testing tools, and CRM connectors, along with community-recommended modules for team member profiles, careers pages, news feeds, and event calendars.
