Minsait Hosts Drupal AI Event on Productivity, Automation, and Web Development
Artificial intelligence and its growing role in Drupal development will be the focus of a hybrid event hosted by Minsait on 7 May at the Indra Group Offices, Av. Bruselas 35, Alcobendas, examining how automation tools are changing workflows, productivity, and digital project delivery across the web development sector.
The event, titled “AI Applied to Drupal: Productivity, Code and New Ways of Working,” will run from 18:30 to 20:00 CET and will be available both in person and online. Organisers describe the session as an opportunity to analyse how AI technologies are influencing development practices, technical teams, and project execution within the Drupal ecosystem.
The programme will begin with an opening presentation introducing current trends in AI-assisted web development and their impact on Drupal-based projects. Discussions will focus on how automation tools are being used to accelerate workflows, reduce repetitive tasks, and support the creation of more advanced digital experiences.
A live technical demonstration scheduled for 18:40 CET will show how AI can convert a design created in Figma into the structure of a Drupal theme. According to the published agenda, the demonstration will include component generation, style optimisation, and examples of productivity improvements enabled through AI-supported workflows.
The event will also include a roundtable discussion on the role of AI in Drupal development. Participants from the Drupal and web development communities are expected to discuss changing technical roles, workflow adaptation, opportunities for agencies, and broader issues related to ethics and intellectual property in AI-assisted development.
Organisers state that the session is intended as a forum for sharing experiences, analysing trends, and discussing practical integration of artificial intelligence into digital projects. The event will conclude with a summary session and networking activities for attendees.
The meeting reflects growing discussion within the Drupal ecosystem around the impact of AI-assisted tooling on development practices, productivity, and collaborative workflows. Similar discussions have increasingly appeared across Drupal community events, contribution initiatives, and technical sessions during the past year.
