The DropTimes to Hold October Open Townhall on 28 October 2026
Continuing its monthly community discussions, The DropTimes will host its October 2026 Open Townhall on Wednesday 28 October at 15:30 UTC (21:00 IST). The meeting will take place online through Zoom, with Drupal contributors, readers and other community members invited to participate.
The Townhall provides an open forum for questions, feedback and suggestions about Drupal coverage. Developers, agency representatives, event organisers, contributors and readers can share story ideas, highlight community initiatives and discuss topics they believe deserve more attention.
The September Open Townhall included discussions on Drupal job discovery, AI visibility, advocacy and community participation. Participants also considered proposals for community-led knowledge sessions, event reporting and an Editorial Working Group intended to bring more contributors into coverage planning.
The earlier August Townhall reviewed changes in TDT's editorial direction, including a greater emphasis on original reporting, technical coverage and community perspectives. Discussions also covered media partnerships and ways to bring Drupal stories to audiences beyond established community channels.
The October meeting will give attendees an opportunity to question TDT's work, identify gaps in existing coverage, suggest overlooked projects or contributors, and propose subjects for future reporting.
Participants can join the meeting through the TDT October Open Townhall Zoom link. The meeting ID is 810 0130 6938, and the passcode is 477450.
The meeting begins on 28 October at 08:30 PDT in Los Angeles, 09:30 MDT in Denver, 10:30 CDT in Chicago, 11:30 EDT in New York, 15:30 GMT in London, 16:30 CET in Paris and Berlin, 17:30 EET in Helsinki, 21:00 IST in India and 23:30 AWST in Perth.
