The nominations for two At-Large positions on the Association Board of Directors are open. The positions are self-nominated and elected by the membership of the Drupal Association. According to the Drupal.org page, each year, one of those positions is up for election, and they look for candidates from the community to nominate themselves. 

The At-large Director position is specifically designed to ensure community representation on the Drupal Association board. The Board is governed by a set of by-laws and each member also commits to adhere to the Board Member Agreement which outlines expectations and responsibilities of the role. Board Members donate their time, talent, and treasure to help the Association meet our mission and also serve as enthusiastic advocates for the Association and the Drupal project itself. The boards term begins on 1 November each year.

There are no restrictions on who can run, other than you must be a member of the Drupal Association. Candidates are requested to go through Board Member Agreement and watch the Drupal Association Update to the Community to better understand what is expected of board members and what types of topics they will discuss during their term.

When it comes to voting, all Drupal Association individual members are eligible to vote in the election. You must be a member of the Drupal Association a full 24 hours before the opening of voting. If you have a current membership, there is nothing additional you need to do in order to vote.
