JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties:

  • Develop and maintain websites using Drupal
  • Design attractive, standards-compliant, cross-browser compatible interfaces for web sites and applications, using best practices for mobile, web and responsive design
  • Maintain and develop design standards
  • Work with partners and other staff to determine design specifications and to trouble shoot state webmaster design questions
  • Participate in and lead trainings about agency websites with state webmasters

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in design discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of Drupal CMS
  • Thorough knowledge of Web standards and Accessibility, including Section 508
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
  • Knowledge of JavaScript/JQuery
  • Knowledge of Responsive Design
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Creative problem solving
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and creative
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
