JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Architect and implement complex Drupal solutions using custom modules, themes, and integrations.
  • Lead technical design sessions and document architectural decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and performance optimization.
  • Manage version upgrades, patching, and module evaluations.
  • Integrate Drupal with external systems (REST APIs, GraphQL, SSO, DAM, CRM, etc.).

Scrum Management & Reporting

  • Act as Scrum Master or technical lead in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint goals.
  • Facilitate sprint execution, monitor team velocity, and manage sprint burndown charts.
  • Use tools like Jira, and Confluence to manage tasks, track progress, and generate reports.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on sprint status, blockers, and release readiness.
  • Ensure alignment between technical delivery and business priorities.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate technical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and UX teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Platform Management

  • Monitor and optimize site performance, scalability, and uptime.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
  • Manage hosting environments (Acquia, AWS, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility (WCAG), GDPR, and other regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of web development experience, with 3+ years in Drupal (Drupal 10/11).
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, Symfony, Twig, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Site Studio and MySQL.
  • Experience with Composer, Drush, Git, and modern CI/CD tools.
  • Proven experience managing Agile/Scrum teams and delivering projects in iterative cycles.
  • Familiarity with Agile metrics and reporting tools (velocity, burndown, cumulative flow).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Acquia Certified Drupal Developer or similar certification.
  • Experience with decoupled Drupal and front-end frameworks (React, Vue).
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Behat, Cypress).
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools (New Relic, Lighthouse).
  • Familiarity with enterprise content governance and workflow management.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
