JOB DESCRIPTION

  • 3+ years of experience in Drupal and PHP project development.
  • Strong knowledge of Drupal architecture, including:  
    • APIs
    • Hooks
    • Services
    • Entities
    • Plugins
    • Core architecture
  • Experience developing custom Drupal modules and themes.
  • Experience with data migration projects.
  • Experience integrating with REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Advanced knowledge of:
    • HTML5
    • CSS3
    • Twig
    • JavaScript
  • Regular use of Drush and Composer for dependency management, configuration, and deployments.
  • Experience with Git version control.
  • Basic knowledge of LAMP environments and container-based solutions using Docker.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Single Directory Components (SDC) and Drupal Recipes.
  • Experience with testing methodologies and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Experience optimizing Drupal performance, caching, and security.
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards and UX/UI best practices.
  • Participation in or contributions to the Drupal community.
  • Drupal certifications (Forcontu or Acquia).
  • Experience leading technical aspects of projects, including:
    • Effort estimation
    • Planning
    • Task review and coordination 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze functional and technical requirements.
  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions following Drupal best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and support to the development team through:
    • Code reviews
    • Troubleshooting
    • Ensuring project quality
  • Participate in technical planning, including task estimation and issue prioritization.
  • Promote continuous improvement and internal knowledge sharing.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and refactoring in existing projects.
  • Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software quality.
  • Document developments and support knowledge transfer activities.
  • Stay current with the latest Drupal technologies and trends.
