Drupal Developer Job at Hays

• Develop and maintain large-scale Drupal platforms.
• Develop and consume REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and third-party services.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, UX designers, and front-end development teams.
• Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, and the definition of development standards.
• Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability.
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents and technical issues.
• Contribute to technical documentation and promote internal development best practices.
• Support multi-country and multilingual Drupal implementations. 

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Drupal development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Drupal 9, 10, and 11.
• Solid expertise in PHP and Drupal architecture, including:
  • Entities
  • Hooks
  • Plugins
  • Services
  • Configuration Management
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Experience developing custom Drupal modules and system integrations.
• Strong knowledge of Git and modern CI/CD practices.  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Good command of English. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Experience with Headless Drupal architectures.
• Experience working on eCommerce platforms.
• Experience integrating Drupal with ERP systems, payment gateways, or other external services.
• Acquia Drupal Certification.
• Contributions to the Drupal community (modules, patches, issue queues, DrupalCon, etc.).
