Senior Drupal Developer Job at ANSR

• Maintain and optimize the Drupal platform to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability
• Monitor system health and application performance using tools such as New Relic, identifying trends and driving improvements
• Implement and manage caching strategies, asset optimization, and performance tuning across the application stack

DevOps & Deployment Enablement:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to support automated testing and reliable deployments
• Manage and enforce source control best practices, including branching strategies and pull request workflows
• Partner with development teams to standardize deployment processes and ensure consistency across environments
• Support release management, including deployment coordination, validation, rollback strategies, and incident response

Cloud Infrastructure & Hosting:

• Manage and support cloud-hosted environments such as Acquia Cloud
• Ensure environments are properly configured, stable, and aligned with platform standards
• Collaborate with Platform leadership to evolve hosting capabilities and improve operational efficiency

Security & Traffic Management:

• Support the implementation of security best practices, including patching, dependency updates, and secure pipeline configuration
• Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment on traffic management, bot mitigation, and infrastructure security
• Configure and optimize CDN and WAF solutions (e.g., Cloudflare) to improve both performance and protection

Cross-Team Enablement:

• Work across multiple web development teams to support successful, low-risk deployments
• Troubleshoot issues across environments, including application, infrastructure, and integration layers
• Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and operational standards that improve team efficiency and consistency

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or web platform engineering roles
• Strong experience with GitHub, including branching strategies, pull requests, and repository management
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Experience working with Drupal or similar PHP-based CMS platforms in production environments
• Solid understanding of cloud-hosted, multi-environment architectures (dev, stage, production)
• Working knowledge of web infrastructure, including Linux, web servers, databases, and caching layers
• Experience with application performance monitoring and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with CDN and WAF technologies
• Working knowledge of PHP, SQL, and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose complex system issues
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with managed hosting platforms such as Acquia Cloud
• Experience implementing automated testing, linting, and security scanning within deployment pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Acquia Cloud and Drupal hosting best practices
• Experience with Cloudflare or similar CDN/WAF solutions
• Experience using New Relic or similar monitoring tools for performance optimization
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management practices
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Understanding of Composer, Symfony, and modern PHP ecosystems
• Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Exposure to security best practices in regulated or compliance-driven environments
• Drupal or Acquia certifications
