JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Design and develop modern web applications and front-end solutions within the Drupal ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, content teams, and development teams in an international matrix organization.
  • Independently implement new features and actively contribute to architecture and technology decisions.
  • Ensure software quality through:
    • Automated testing
    • CI/CD pipelines
    • Security scanning
  • Analyze existing systems and drive continuous improvements.
  • Work in Agile development environments with ownership of assigned work packages.
  • Effectively utilize modern AI-powered development tools to improve productivity.
  • Apply Specification-Driven Development (Spec-Driven Development) practices.
  • Use agentic coding approaches and software agents where appropriate.
  • Support the team's ongoing adoption and improvement of AI-assisted development practices. 

Technical Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of web development, including:
    • JavaScript
    • React (preferred)
    • Drupal
  • Excellent knowledge of:
    • HTML
    • CSS
    • CSS frameworks
    • Responsive web design
    • Accessible (barrier-free) web design
  • Experience with build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and source code management tools such as:
    • Bitbucket
    • Jenkins
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools such as:
    • Jira
    • Confluence
  • Basic understanding of:
    • Software architecture
    • Application security
    • Clean Code principles
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools, including:
    • GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants
    • AI-powered IDEs
  • Experience in:
    • Prompt engineering
    • Reviewing AI-generated code
    • Validating AI-generated code quality
  • Practical experience applying Specification-Driven Development.
  • Initial hands-on experience with agentic coding and AI software agents.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools effectively to improve productivity while maintaining high code quality.

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for Application Development (or an equivalent qualification).
  • Several years of professional experience in web development.
