JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Drupal websites and custom modules.
  • Build responsive front-end interfaces and robust back-end functionality.
  • Improve website performance, security, accessibility, and analytics.
  • Troubleshoot complex web issues involving caching, integrations, and background processing.
  • Lead code reviews, testing, QA, and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
  • Support procurement documentation and technical requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Government web standards and best practices.

 Essential Skills

  • Strong experience in Drupal development and custom module development.
  • Expertise in website performance optimization, security, and analytics.
  • Solid understanding of accessibility (WCAG), usability, and user-centred design.
  • Experience resolving complex technical incidents across web platforms.
  • Knowledge of Git, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and quality assurance.
  • Experience working with server infrastructure, hosting environments, and technical integrations.
