JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Improve and enhance website search capabilities using Drupal and search technologies.
  • Availability to work 15–40 hours per week.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and frameworks.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Drupal search technologies, including Apache Solr.
  • Develop and maintain front-end functionality using the Drupal platform.
  • Work with and support web hosting environments.
  • Apply website security best practices, including:
    • SSL/TLS encryption
    • Firewalls
    • Malware detection and prevention
    • Vulnerability monitoring
  • Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia, using Drupal CMS.
  • Ensure website content is accurate, consistent, appropriate, and up to date.
  • Maintain website content and graphic standards in accordance with WCAG accessibility requirements.
  • Implement and maintain service-related links to County departments and Federal, State, and Local government agencies.
  • Maintain website security by regularly updating Drupal software, modules/plugins, and themes.
  • Implement security protocols and monitor websites for potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to website functionality, server configuration, and user access.
  • Collaborate with IT support teams and external vendors to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
