JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
  • Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
  • Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
  • Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
  • Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
  • Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
  • Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
  • Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

    Required Skill And Experience
     
  • Experience with Drupal 8/9/10 development.
  • Experience in deploying and managing sites on Acquia Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Twig, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Experience with Drupal APIs: Hooks, Plugins, Services, Entity API, Form API.
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Acquia Pipelines).
  • Understanding of Configuration Management and multi-environment workflows (Dev/Stage/Prod).
  • Knowledge of Acquia Search (Solr).
  • Experience with RESTful/JSON:API integrations.
  • Work closely with client stake holders including. engineering leads, Product team & solution architects etc.
  • Possesses the ability to think strategically about software systems, designing solutions that are scalable, maintainable, secure, and align with business needs.
  • Excellent at troubleshooting and communicating status, root cause and results.
  • Experience to work in a Global delivery environment
  • Familiarity with agile development processes and methodologies.

  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
  • Good Analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Additional Required Qualifications
     
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
