Drupal Developer Job at Appliscale

• Develop custom Drupal 10 modules using PHP 8.x, Symfony components, and Twig templating.
• Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure and Docker containerized environments.
• Maintain and manage CircleCI deployment pipelines.
• Implement technical SEO strategies, including URL structures, redirects, Core Web Vitals, page speed optimization, and structured data.
• Monitor system health and website performance using Datadog to ensure high availability and stability.
• Perform regular security patches, Drupal updates, and core upgrades.
• Support editorial teams with CMS workflows and contribute to headless CMS architecture.
• Participate in an on-call rotation. 

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience in production environments.
• Hands-on experience developing custom modules in Drupal 10.
• Strong expertise in PHP 8.x, Symfony, and Twig.
• Solid understanding of technical SEO principles, including URL structures, redirects, page speed, and structured data.
• Practical experience with AWS, Docker, CircleCI, and Git.
• Autonomous and proactive mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and take end-to-end ownership.
• Curiosity and basic/foundational knowledge of JavaScript.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Proficiency in English. 

Nice to Have

• Experience with or interest in headless CMS architecture.
• Familiarity with Platform.sh.
• Advanced Drupal theming experience.
• Experience with Datadog.
• Knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
