• Perform functional analysis of business requirements.
  • Evaluate technical complexity and feasibility.
  • Prioritize functionalities and features.
  • Drive architectural and product-related technical decisions.
• Advanced Backend Development
  • Develop portals, custom plugins, and custom modules using PHP.
  • Customize and adapt existing Drupal solutions when standard alternatives are not available.
• Integrations & Services
  • Design, develop, and consume REST APIs and Web Services within the Drupal ecosystem.
• Development Environments & Tools
  • Define and configure local development environments using containerization tools such as Lando and DDEV.
  • Manage development workflows using Drush and Composer.
• Documentation & Code Quality
  • Create detailed technical documentation.
  • Prepare user manuals and operational guides.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices. 

Mandatory Requirements

• Educational Background
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
  • Higher Vocational Training qualification in DAW/DAM or equivalent technical education.
• Minimum Experience
  • More than 5 years of solid backend development experience with Drupal and PHP.
  • Strong knowledge of Drupal versions from Drupal 7 through Drupal 10.
• Key Technical Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of the Drupal Migrate module.
  • Programming-level customization of the Drupal Webform module.
  • Experience creating and using Hooks and Events.
  • Development of custom Drupal modules.
• Development Environment & Tools
  • At least 3 years of experience working with:
    • Docker-based environments, including Lando / DDEV.
    • CLI tools such as Drush and Composer.
    • Version control systems such as Git, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
• API & Integration Experience
  • Experience creating and consuming REST APIs and Web Services. 

Competencies & Soft Skills

• Strong technical leadership skills and a high sense of ownership for product deliveries.
• Experience with functional analysis and Agile methodologies, including Agile / Jira.
• Strong analytical skills to understand business requirements and assess their technical challenges and complexity.
• Ability to make sound technical decisions and guide development teams.
