JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Drupal applications, including custom themes, modules, components, and integrations.
  • Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences using Drupal, Twig, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Translate business, product, and UX requirements into scalable solutions aligned with architecture, security, accessibility, and performance standards.
  • Support Drupal site building, configuration management, content modeling, and integrations using APIs and web services.
  • Manage code through version control, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance across environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners on releases, enhancements, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions, mentor other developers, document solutions, and escalate technical or delivery risks.

    What We’re Looking For
     
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • At least five years of web application development experience, including a minimum of three years of hands-on Drupal development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, Drupal APIs, and Drupal core and contributed modules, including custom module development.
  • Demonstrated experience creating Drupal themes and components using Twig, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Drupal site building, configuration management, content modeling, and integrations using RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Knowledge of Drupal security, accessibility, caching, and performance optimization practices.
  • Experience with Git, modern branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with experience working across the full development lifecycle in an agile environment.
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in additional languages is beneficial.

    Preferred Qualifications
     
  • Experience with cloud-hosted Drupal platforms such as Acquia or Pantheon and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with containerized development tools such as Docker, DDEV, or Lando.
  • Experience with Coveo Search or similar enterprise search technology.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering quality and efficiency.
