JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Architect, develop, and maintain secure, high-performing Drupal websites that meet industry standards for accessibility, usability, security, and design excellence
  • Lead Drupal development activities, including custom module development, theming, migrations, automated testing, and ongoing application maintenance
  • Design, implement, and execute automated testing strategies to support reliable, high-quality software delivery
  • Support the full application lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement
  • Help define deployment strategies and ensure smooth, efficient releases to production environments
  • Mentor and collaborate with engineers across varying experience levels, promoting technical growth, knowledge sharing, and development best practices
  • Partner directly with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to establish priorities, manage expectations, and deliver successful project outcomes
  • Contribute to an Agile development environment through planning, sprint execution, technical discussions, retrospectives, and continuous improvement activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while identifying opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, security, accessibility, and user experience
  • Champion quality, innovation, and continuous learning to help drive project and team success

    Requirements

    Basic Qualifications

     
  • 7+ years of experience building secure, accessible, responsive web applications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience building Drupal solutions, including module development, theming, migrations, automated testing, Drush, and Composer
  • 3+ years of technical leadership experience, such as a Lead, Deputy Lead, Technical Lead, or comparable role
  • Experience working with cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS and Acquia
  • 7 + years of experience with core web technologies and standards, including HTTP, SSL/TLS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON
  • Demonstrated experience supporting modern web application development, testing, deployment, and production operations
  • Experience collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary technical teams
  • Experience working within Agile software development environments
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical communication, and technical leadership skills
  • Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust level clearance as required by the contract
