Drupal Developer Job at Aumnitech

• Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal applications using hands-on coding and development practices.
• Develop Drupal modules, features, and functionality, preferably using Drupal 10 or Drupal 11.
• Work directly within the Acquia Cloud environment to support Drupal applications and related technical tasks.
• Support Drupal upgrades and migrations as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Drupal development issues and application-related technical challenges.
• Support occasional evening, overnight, or weekend maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with the client and technical team to ensure successful application maintenance and delivery.

Requirements

• Practical, hands-on Drupal development and coding experience.
• Direct, hands-on experience working within the Acquia Cloud environment.
• Strong preference for recent Drupal 10 or Drupal 11 experience, particularly Drupal 11.
• Ability to demonstrate personally developed Drupal modules, features, or functionality.
• Ability to explain specific tasks performed in Acquia Cloud; content editing, administrative experience alone, or general cloud experience is insufficient.
• Ability to work hours compatible with Central or Eastern business hours.
• Availability for occasional after-hours maintenance, including possible evening, overnight, or weekend work.
• Ability to commit to the initial six-month contract.
• Acceptance of the maximum bill rate of $78/hour on W-2.
• Drupal and Acquia certifications are not required.

Experience

• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing and coding Drupal applications.
• Recent experience with Drupal 10 or Drupal 11 is strongly preferred, with particular emphasis on Drupal 11.
• Practical experience using Acquia Cloud to perform application-related technical tasks.
• Experience with older Drupal versions is acceptable if the candidate can demonstrate that their skills remain current and relevant.
• Experience with Drupal upgrades and migrations is beneficial but secondary to core Drupal development and Acquia Cloud experience.
• Strong PHP development skills are an advantage; no separate minimum-years requirement for PHP is specified.
• Acquia Cloud Classic experience is preferred only if relevant, but it is not mandatory because the specific environment has not yet been confirmed.
