About

Emily is a Managing Consultant at Canberra-based consultancy Pragma Partners, specialising in running digital product and services for high-profile government clients.

Emily is currently leading an agile multi-disciplinary team of development, design and content professionals. She has also led user research, content audit, and strategy advice for a range of Australian government agencies.

With a background in communications and marketing, Emily uses these skills to work collaboratively with her clients to understand their needs and deliver impactful and meaningful solutions.

Emily is a member of the Canberra Women in ICT committee and winner of the organisation’s 2022 Defying Gravity Award. In this role, Emily works to raise the profile of women in the ICT industry and show other young women that there are many diverse and rewarding careers in the technology industry.

With a background in digital media, communications, and journalism, Emily uses her experience to deliver high-impact, purposeful content. She is recognised for her innovative and energetic approach to projects and enjoys challenging traditional ways of thinking.

Emily has strong visual design capabilities and enjoys creating content for a range of platforms and purposes, from video and social media to web content and project artefacts. She has a passion for storytelling and an ambition for a connected and informed world.

In 2022, Emily was awarded the Women in Information and Communication (WIC) Defying Gravity Award. This award recognised Emily as an emerging female leader in the IT industry, who advocates for equity and representation in the field.

Outside of work, Emily likes to flex her creative muscles through art, graphic design, and DIY projects. Her ideal Friday night is enjoying a bowl of Phở while binge-watching the latest season of Queer Eye.
