About

As a Texas attorney and legal technology practitioner, I work to bridge the gap between law and software innovation to improve access to justice. With over 30 years in tech (including hands-on programming and systems design) and over 10 years in legal practice, I bring a dual perspective to every project. Recently, I’ve managed high-impact legal tech initiatives backed by $6M+ in federal and state funding, creating scalable solutions for underserved communities.

My career merges three main threads:

Legal: Family law (divorce, custody, child support), housing, tax, record sealing, and estate planning, with a focus on consumer protection and appellate advocacy.

Technical: A computer science degree and decades of experience with modern tools like AWS, Twilio, Drupal, and cloud architectures—from hands-on coding to system design.

Leadership: Building cross-functional teams (developers, consultants, and attorneys) to deliver user-centered systems that streamline justice.

I thrive where law meets technology—whether designing software, integrating public data into improved legal workflows, or advocating for equitable systems. Let’s connect to discuss justice tech, collaborative problem-solving, or the future of legal innovation.
